MEEKER MULTI-PURPOSE STEP MOUNT

Meeker Aviation offers a Multi-Purpose Step Mount certified for the Eurocopter EC-135, EC-145 and UH-72. This mount allows you to attach multiple tactical devices to the aircraft such as cameras, sensors, searchlights, downlinks and Power Sonix loudspeakers. It has a 125 lbs (56.7 kg) payload capacity on the forward hardpoints and an additional 100 lbs (45.4 kg) of payload capacity on the aft hardpoints. It is available for left and right side installations and fits both standard and high skids.

A Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) is on file with both FAA and EASA. This simplifies the certification process for the various payloads because they do not have to be individually engineered to mount to the fuselage. Each devise is attached to the step mount which is already certified. The only connections to the aircraft for the payloads are their respective connecting cables for power, audio, video, gimbal control, slaving, etc.
